Bukowina is a very interesting river. The first day is easy. This is an episode that prepares us for the second day,
easy for beginners or families looking for more relaxation. We start from Lake Kamienicki from the UKS Wiking
sailing harbor or on the Bukovina river near the road 214 near Pałubice. From the Kamienicki lake, we flow
through the Strait to the Holy Lake and then to the Bukowina River. We flow under a bridge built of stone on
which there is road No. 214 and head down the river. We finish this stage in front of the old mill in Skrzeszew,
pulling the canoes on the left. We are preparing for the night and we are gathering strength for the next day.
The next episode is dedicated to people who are persevering and looking for adventure. The fall of Bukovina is
clearly visible here and the color of the dumps we add with pleasure and a smile. After a few moments, we
encounter an obstacle which I suggest to avoid from the left bank and launch a canoe behind the dam.
We do not offer a jump from the dam because the bottom is lined with large stones. Sailing further we see
the beauty of this area, green meadows, singing birds, hills, forests. When we encounter a bridge on our road
and hear the whirr of turbine engines, it is a sign that we are approaching the village of Siemirowice and the
military airport nearby. We sail under a road bridge, where there are stony rapids and we reach a metal
footbridge under which a steel pipe is placed low over the water. Depending on the level of water on the river,
this obstacle is often insurmountable. We move the canoe on the left bank. The opinion of the difficult
Bukowina river has gained a stage that is just beginning. It is a mountain section of the river in Pomerania.
Bukovina is beginning to be demanding, we are waiting for fast current and fallen trees and the bottom is
lined with stones. The most recognizable section of Bukovina is the stage behind the bridge on
the Bytów - Lębork road where the river passes into a mountain stream with narrow passages and
rapidly running water. Danger in the form of stones and fallen trees is the norm here. Tipper is not
a disgrace here. We finish the rafting in front of the barrage in Kozin. We bring kayaks to the side of the
road and wait for transport.
